The Open Door Clothing Bank is an outreach ministry of the Lititz United Methodist Church. The clothing bank is a store-like setting offering “New” and “Like New” clothing at no cost to anyone who needs clothing. Need is defined as anyone who cannot afford to purchase clothing or finds it a financial strain to clothe their families. This can be a temporary need to meet a period of unemployment, budget strain (such as the winter heating season, unexpected bills, high medical costs), or to meet someone’s need in crisis due to loss by fire, or abusive situations. Low or fixed income families are also served. The clothing bank is open to everyone (in our church, in our community, and surrounding communities).
COLLECTION INFORMATION:
We continually accept new and like new clothing throughout the week by placing donations in green bins located by the elevator on each floor of our church - an easy drop-off. We ask you to give of your first fruits – even if it’s just clothing! We thank you for your help in making this an excellent outreach!
