June 1: Sunday Worship Services
Time Change!

Our new Sunday morning worship schedule begins June 1st with our traditional service at 9:00 a.m., followed by the informal service at 10:30 a.m. Nursery care will be available from 9:00-11:30 a.m. The Sunday School & Children’s Church starting times are: 7:45 a.m. Family Of God (Paul Miller, leader); 9:00 a.m. His Clay Class (various leaders); 9:00 a.m. Youth Sunday School (grades 7-12); 9:00 a.m. Children’s Church (grades 1-4) & “Grapple 56” (grades 5-6); 10:15 a.m. Special K Class (Gene Burkett, leader); 10:15 a.m. Love One Another Class (Ruth Husser, leader); and 10:30 a.m. Children’s Sunday School classes (K-6).

June 17: Pastor Harry's Retirement Dinner

You are invited to celebrate Pastor Harry’s 43 years in ministry as he retires following 12 years of service at Lititz UMC!

WHEN: Tuesday, June 17, 2008
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Dinner served at 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Midway Mennonite Reception Center (now air conditioned)
210 E. Lexington Rd, Lititz

COST: $15.00/adult, $8.00/child 4 to 10 years old (under age 4 free)

June 29: Welcome Pastor Perez

Let’s WELCOME Pastor Perez and his family to Lititz UMC at our “5th Sunday” Pot Luck Dinner on Sunday, June 29th at 12:00 noon in the social hall. June 29th is the first day that Pastor Perez will be preaching at our Sunday services.

Please bring a dish large enough to feed the number in your family, plus a little extra to share.

Dessert and beverages will be provided by the Cooking Group!

Power Lab Vacation Bible School
Sunday July 20- Thursday July 24 6:00-8:30 pm
*Kindergarten - 6th Grade

*Grades completed. Younger children may attend only if a parent is helping at church with VBS. There will be a separate VBS program for helpers’ children age 3-preK.

This summer, kids will discover the miraculous power of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit!
We’ll have a blast exploring the mysteries of science while learning about the miracles of Jesus! Our laboratory will be bubbling over with excitement as we experiment with the power in electricity, air, water, and chemistry! Kids will find out what it’s like to be inside a giant bubble! They may even walk on “water!” We’ll play wacky games and enjoy yummy treats together. We’ll make stuff like hovercrafts out of CD’s and mini lava lamps from test tubes. Every evening we’ll produce a cool video starring the kids. There’ll be lots of surprises! And adults are guaranteed to have as much fun as the kids!
